NTA AISSEE 2024 Result: Websites to check Sainik School scorecard | Education News

The National Testing Agency declared the results for the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2024 on March 13. The admissions in Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools will be through e-Counselling mode only. Candidates are required to register themselves at pesa.ncog.gov.in/sainikschoolecounselling/ to move to the next stage of the process for admission to Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools through e-counselling.

Students who appeared for the exam can check their results at the official website of AISSEE —  exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/. Results will also be published on the website of the respective schools. Candidates will be informed through email and SMS about it.

 


NTA AISSEE Result 2024

 

The exam was held on January 21 in 180 cities across the country. It was conducted in pen and paper mode (OMR sheet based) and the questions were multiple-choice (Express Image/Representative)

NTA conducts the AISSEE-2024 for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 in 33 Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2024-25. These schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE.

In majority cases, the admission will be based on the position of the candidate in the Merit List of AISSEE 2024, subject to availability of vacancies, compliance with other eligibility requirements, medical fitness and verification of documents.

The Sainik Schools Society (SSS), which handles all Sainik Schools, is an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Defence. The schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE.

 Approximately 230 schools from various states have sent their applications to get themselves affiliated with the Sainik School Society (Express Image/Representative)

Sainik Schools prepare cadets to join the National Defense Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla (Pune), Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala and other Training Academies for officers. At present, there are a total of 33 Sainik Schools across the country.
